About the Author
Holly is a Certified Public Accountant and a finance professional with over 15 years of experience serving the media and entertainment industry. Her passion for personal finance led her to pen her first book targeted to parents to highlight the importance of money management and to provide them with the tools to give their kids a head start. This is exhibited in her use of scripture and biblical references to support and reinforce each money habit. As the youngest of four siblings, Holly is no stranger of doing more with less. Exposure to the broad economic landscape, and its disparities, piqued her interest to understand money management and propelled her to discover savvy ways to save and experience financial harmony as an adult. Furthermore, her personal financial mistakes and rebounds now fuel her to build a legacy worth leaving.

Ensure your child's financial future!
By amazoncust
A wise and endearing take on a biblical story that melds common sense, good parenting and compassion into a guide for giving your child the best chance to grow into a financially responsible and secure adult. Starting with the idea that money is the reward received in exchange for work, not something manufactured in a parent's wallet or purse, the author demonstrates the importance of learning the true origin of money. She continues the journey of financial development with good advice on both spending and saving wisely, the perfect segue to her cautionary discussion on credit. The book's section on the value of generosity was an especially uplifting read that goes beyond just sharing financial wealth with those less fortunate, to many levels of doing good in the world. A wonderful lesson for a children and a great reminder for adults.

FUTURE ENTREPENEURS
By Barbara Mojica
This is an excellent guide for teaching children how to handle and save money. The book has nothing to do with fishing. Written by a CPA, the language is not complicated but clear and easy to follow. As a bonus, the author includes a downloadable printable workbook to accompany the text. In the first chapter children are introduced to why we work and the kinds of tasks children might find engaging. Chapter Two explains how to be conscious about spending and how to do so wisely, stressing what is worthwhile and how we can help community, Chapter Three encourages children to save and invest and lays out different ways to do so. In the fourth chapter children learn how to be responsible with credit, how it works, and how to minimize debt. In the final chapter the author talks about how give generously to others in their community.

I particularly enjoyed the recommended activities section at the end of each section and the final thoughts in which the chapter is pulled together. While the author is a CPA, she also presents a strong Christian viewpoint and quotes scripture to reinforce her lessons. This book may serve as a reference manual to be implemented at many different stages in a child's life. I particularly recommend it for parents of children in the eight to twelve age group.

Help Your Kids Be Financially Fit.
By B Watson
The all too common saying, "I wish I knew then what I know now" is so true when it comes to money. It's one of those topics we know is important, however, who teaches you the fundamentals to help you keep your head above water and become financially fit? For many people, I think learning these skills are hit and miss. Our education generally don't teach you, and some parents may struggle themselves in this area.
I therefore liked the authors practical approach to teaching your children how to "financially fish" for themselves. I particularly liked the first chapter being about working hard for what you earn. I also liked how she encourages parents to help their children discover and cultivate their skills and passions. The chapter on understanding debt was also good for parents who want to make their children aware of this potential trap. The author also discusses the importance of helping your children know the difference between needs and wants, so that they can spend wisely, and have enough to save and give.
This book is an easy read that covers many fundamental principles that children need to know to manage money better.
