Travel guides on a reader is much harder to manage than having a paperback. I couldn't go between pages and couldn't refer back to the map as I frequently have to in order to get a visual on location and distance. I found the hotel recommendations to be either too low end or too high end. Tripadvisor on line was much better at giving information, as they were in selecting guides and tours.

A rich blend of regional history and travel planning tips for those going to Morocco. The book's organization allows its readers to jump in anywhere and soak up the plentiful details without being locked into a preconceived narrative. Everything seems to be here you'd need except instructions for non-Moslem women on how to wear a head scarf. No need to include that in the book, though, as Googling "hajib" will find you numerous sites with illustrated directions.

I find MOST of Lonely Planet Guides unhelpful and disjointed and loaded with "treks', unexplained and verbose in nature. But this one is the exception. Even though I am not a trekker, I will be taking some short treks because of the organization of this author who presents the hikes properly, detailing shorter treks and giving the statistics, length, etc. of each. The other LP guides just have long rambling jaunts on treks; this author is awesome! I love how he organized the regions well too and how he described adventures for all types of tourists and the architectural details of the hotels. I love this guy so my first five star review for Lonely Planet!

I read Andrew's 85 reasons soon after arriving in Brazil and found it valuable while I was adjusting to Brazilian students.

He has a nice, clear format that points out a mistake, proves a context for it, then presents the correction.

In fact, I have seen almost every mistake in my classes with Brazilians. Definitely worth it if you are new to the Brazilian classroom or anticipating being in one, for sure.

The author came up with some expressions and words that are a pain in the neck for us brazilians. Having a communication in English doesn't means that we're going to lose our accent or even talk like Queen Elizabeth II, however we're supposed to avoid misunderstandings and be clear as much as possible. These 85 tips are really useful! I can't recommend this book more!

Sabine Graf has a PhD from Vienna University of Technology, Austria & is presently an Assistant Professor at Athabasca University, School of Computing & Information Systems, in Canada. Her research expertise & interests include adaptivity & personalization, student modeling, ubiquitous & mobile learning, artificial intelligence & collaborative learning technologies. She has published more than 60 peer-reviewed journal papers, book chapters & conference papers in these areas, of which three conference papers were awarded with the best paper award. Dr. Graf is Executive Board Member of the IEEE Technical Committee on Learning Technologies, Editor of the Learning Technology Newsletter, a publication of the IEEE Computer Society's Technical Committee on Learning Technology (TCLT) & Associate Editor of the International Journal of Interaction Design & Architectures. She is an active member of the research community, serving as editorial board member of three international journals, workshop chair & organizer of eight international workshops, doctoral consortium chair at three international conferences & guest editor of three special issues. Furthermore, Dr. Graf has been invited to given keynote/invited talks at universities/companies/conferences in Austria, Canada, Colombia, New Zealand, Taiwan & UK.

Dr. Fuhua Lin is a Professor & the Centre Chair of the School of Computing & Information Systems, of Athabasca University, Canada. Dr. Lin has been conducting research in Computers in Education since 1986. He obtained his PhD in Virtual Reality from Hong Kong University of Science & Technology in 1998. Kinshuk is NSERC/iCORE/Xerox/Markin Industrial Research Chair for Adaptivity & Personalization in Informatics, Associate Dean of Faculty of Science & Technology & Full Professor in the School of Computing & Information Systems at Athabasca University, Canada. His work has been dedicated to advancing research on the innovative paradigms, architectures & implementations of learning systems for individualized & adaptive learning in increasingly global environments. He is the Founding Chair of IEEE Technical Committee on Learning Technology & the Editor of the SSCI indexed Journal of Educational Technology & Society. Principle-Centered Success

I've read MaryEllen's marketing and business books, and have been fortunate enough to work with her on a number of projects over the past 11 years. Her direct marketing experience is certainly effective at producing results in business. I am really pleased that she wrote this book because it gives a glimpse into the reasons for her own success. Like Covey's "7 Habits", this book shares some of the underlying principles of success in life, not just "quick fix techniques" aimed at producing short-terms results. From an outsider's perspective, MaryEllen definitely "looks successful", and on reading this book the reader gains a deeper understanding of some of the the underlying principles behind that success. Her written style and the personal anecdotes she shares conveys warmth, and she balances the ideas and principles of success with practical, real-world examples, making the book inspiring while staying well-grounded. Thank you - a good, first Kindle title for her, and I hope not the last one!
